OHhh I love this ok, because mistaken identity is one of my favorite things.
1 Stiles is a little overwhelmed, ok. He didn’t mean to become the Next Big Thing. All he wanted was to make enough money with his shitty YouTube channel to keep the lights on and his dad in PT.
But then, fame happened and he has no fucking clue what to do with it, with all the people who want his attention and the mountain of scripts growing in his dad’s garage.
He doesn’t even have time to read books anymore, and that right there is the true travesty of his upturn in fame, if he’s honest.
2 Still. He’s got the lights on, and his dad has the best fucking care, and he gets to go really cool places. It’s when he’s in said really cool place, filming a movie that is either going to be Oscar bait or THE summer blockbuster (Stiles really didn’t pay attention) that he finds a library.
3 And in the library he finds the prettiest, grumpiest librarian he’s ever seen. Maybe just the prettiest, grumpiest PERSON he’s ever seen and he’s filming with Gal Gadot. Stiles quickly decides that the library is his new favorite place.
The books are nice too.
4 It takes him four trips to realize Derek (pretty grumpy book boy is named Derek, glares when Stiles brings him coffee and reads books to little kids in a soft, excited tone that makes Stiles want to melt, it’s adorable) has no freaking clue who he is.
It’s the first time since his second movie that Stiles wasn’t immediately recognized, and he knows he’ll have to tell Derek eventually, but he doesn’t want to–he wants to be a normal dude with a book, arguing with a pretty boy about the Lord of the Rings movie adaptations and being utterly charmed by the way Derek flushes when he slides new books across the counter to him, mumbling, “I saved it for you.”
5 They start texting when Stiles has to spend a week at a remote location doing night shoots, and the light flirting they’ve been doing takes a turn for the sexy. Stiles spends his time elated that this beautiful, sweet guy–he volunteers to bottle feed kittens and his landlord made him stop fostering pets because he adopted four–wants to spend time with him and terrified that Derek is going to realize who he is before Stiles tells him.
6 As soon as he gets back to town, even though he’s exhausted and still covered in fake blood and he’s due on set in three hours–he begs Derek to meet him, stumbles into the all night cafe wide eyed and almost hyperventilating and announces, “I’m a movie star, I don’t even know how it happend, and I should have told you but you didn’t know who I was I wanted you to like me I’m so sorry for lying.”
7 Derek gives him a smile Stiles really likes, fond and exasperated and amused, and says, “I knew who you were when you came in, Stiles. You just didn’t seem to want to talk about it, so I didn’t.”
Stiles falls into his seat and gapes at Derek. “How?”
Derek snorts, “You came to the library with Gal Gadot. You weren’t subtle.”
Stiles kind of sputters about that because he’d forgotten she’d been there–but Derek just rolls his eyes, and leans across the table and kisses him. He’s blushing when he pulls back, but firm when he says, “Shut up and drink your milkshake. I’ll drive you to set.”
Okay so, I was not aware it’s @matildajones‘ birthday today, so I didn’t have time to make something awesome, which is SAD because Matilda turns a glorious 21 and deserves ALL THE GOOD SHIT! But, alas, this weirdly disjointed thing is the best I could do, and I hope it’s enough.
It has butts, at least, which is something. (And a shoutout to that movie, you’ll know it when you see it.)

post-production,” Stiles moans from under the covers, keeping his
face hidden. Partly from shame, but mostly so he won’t have to
actually witness Scott’s grimacing at every scene as it unfolds on
Stiles’ laptop.
”Oh. Well… I think at least they
tried?” Stiles doesn have to see Scott’s face to feel the wince,
because even to Scott’s own ears that sounds weak.
”You know, when I started acting I
never thought I’d be a household name, but I also never thought I’d
be known across the fucking globe for being the idiot to accept a
role in the worst movie of the century.”
”Well there’s a lot of century left,”
Scott says diplomatically.
Derek Hale is a veteran journalist for Hollywood Entertainment Online. He usually sticks to writing articles on television actors and actresses but when his boss sends him to interview confident, up-and-coming movie actor, Stiles Stilinski about his first major leading role, Derek finds himself quite taken with the young man. Enough so that all of Stiles’ future interviews with the site just happen to be with Derek.
“You know, Derek, if you like me, you don’t have to keep setting up interviews as an excuse to see me. You could just ask me out like a normal person.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about, Stiles.”

When Jackson’s habit
of casual dating earns him the label of Casanova, his manager and best friend,
Danny, suggests that he do a little damage control. Enter Stiles Stilinski,
famous actor whose last two movies have apparently flopped. They already have a
sarcastic flirting going on, so Jackson knows getting Stiles to fake date him
is the best plan ever.
“You’ve got to do something about it, Jackson.”
“Like what?” Jackson takes a sip of his drink, frowning when
the stupid umbrella bumps against his nose. He pulls it out of the glass and
tosses it across the table at Danny. “You know how much I hate random shit in
my drinks.”
“Which is why I always make sure to ask for an umbrella
whenever I order you iced tea.” Danny smirks, and the bastard somehow manages
to still look like a total sweetheart instead of an ass. It’s a skill that
Jackson has never managed to master, even after thirteen years in the spotlight.

the fact that he always wanted to be other people while still being
himself, to justify his feelings. It took him a long time to work up
the courage to pursue it, but at nineteen, with luck and the help of
some of Laura’s friends, he got his first job.
It’s not
the easiest job, and he loathes
not being able to go to his mom’s birthday because he’s on the other
side of the world at some fancy event, but it’s all worth it. He’s finally doing what he loves.
What
he dos not love
though, is having to deal with asshole journalists and close minded
TV presenters. God, that he wished he could avoid.
“Julie
was nice, you remember her, right?” Isaac says for the tenth time.
“And she’s pretty too.”
Derek
glares at him, and then at Lydia. “Fifteen minutes.” He grits
out.
She
raises an eyebrow, but smiles like she’s just won a big prize.
“Thirty.”
“Twenty.”
“Deal.”
She says, turning around to go fetch the journalist, while Derek
collapses on the couch and accepts a bottle of water from Isaac.
“Do
you think she would give me her number?”
Derek
snorts, despite himself. “Good luck with that.” He still
remembers the last guy Lydia dated – the asshole is never getting a
job in Hollywood ever again. “Just never cheat on her.”
“Like
I would.” Isaac scoffs, smiling at he watches Lydia walk back into
the room. “Good luck with that.”
He points out as the reporter following Lydia waves excitedly.

Sterek au with Actor!Stiles and Actor!Derek E! Online reports on Derek Hale’s surprise visit to see Stiles at his movie premier.
Derek Hale surprised long-term boyfriend Stiles Stilinski in London today after the couple have been apart for six months. Stilinski has been prompting his movie King of Hearts for the past few months and Hale just wrapped his newest movie Bond in Paris.
It was presumed that Hale was going to go to the couples shared home in Las Angeles but he detoured to London where it looks like he’ll be staying through the weekend.
As Hale entered the hotel he was swarmed by fans but took the time to stop and take pictures with them. What a sweet guy.
Stilinski’s movie premiers September 18th, in the US.
