Laura was being annoyingly protective after Birthday Gate—to be fair, it wasn’t like Stiles knew Derek was allergic to chlorine and that pushing Derek into the pool would cause him to break out in hives and eventually result in him having to call his sister to pick him up. Stiles didn’t know!! Laura was convinced that Stiles did it to embarrass Derek but Laura wasn’t there when Stiles handed him his own towel (!!!!!!!) with a furrowed look of concern that hadn’t appeared on Stiles’ face prior to Birthday Gate—and Derek just wanted to help the lacrosse team out, he swears. BHHS pride, support the fundraisers, y’know.
