So the pack comes home for the holidays after their first semester of college and Derek’s all content having everyone back in one place.
Of course during all of their gatherings they take a bunch of pictures and Scott puts them all together in photo albums for everyone and passes them out at Christmas which is sweet and thoughtful until Derek gets his and starts flipping through it.
He realizes in every group shot they managed to wrangle him into taking he’s looking at Stiles. Actually he’s not just looking at Stiles he’s got full-on heart eyes directed at him.
Derek’s sweating because if he‘s noticed then Stiles has noticed too and sure enough Derek can’t even get to the last page of the photo album before he feels someone slide into the space next to him.
It’s Stiles and he’s grinning quite smugly as he asks, “Is there something you’d like to say to me?” and Derek shakes his head and replies, “I think a picture’s worth a thousand words.” and Stiles can’t believe he’s in love with such a cheesy dork.
