Plot twist: John’s character fails at finding Idris’ character a girlfriend he likes and doesn’t understand why. Turns out Idris’ character was in love with their nice neighbor (appears multiple times in the movie) for years. Nice neighbor is played by The Rock.
The Rock is throwing some serious shade at at least some of his male co-stars on ‘Fast 8.’ And calling them “candy asses” may reveal exactly who he’s talking about.
