my favorite part of any au fic is when character A looks over and sees character B for the first time and they’re just like “holy shit……..oh my god……..this is the most beautiful human………..i ‘v e evER SEEN” and there’s like an entire paragraph describing character B even though we all know what they look like. i love it. i will read 8,000 detailed, adoring descriptions of the same character and i will love it every diddly dang time.
