Huge thank you to everyone who submitted prompts to my little self-challenge for 2017! I appreciate the support & inspiration. Y’all outdid yourselves with these prompts, by the way. It’s such an amazing variety of ships, platonic stuff, and even some crossovers!
Based on the amount of prompts & my goal to finish this list by the end of 2017, I need to average about 5 fics a week to meet that goal. Inell, WTF have you gotten yourself into? LMAO. Wow. Y’all really did send in the prompts! I know that @shealwaysreads and @sterekseason have already volunteered as cheerleaders slash naggers slash ‘Inell stop browsing Tumblr and write OMG’ reminderers but I might need a few more. So feel free to nudge me or poke me or cheer me on as I attempt to do this project. I’m glad it’s just a personal goal. LOL
So, my plan now that I have my full list of prompts is to begin the first week of writing tomorrow. I might have time to get something started today, but I’m officially setting forth tomorrow as Day 1. I’m going to try to focus on short/quick writing fills, but we know how much my muse listens to me (not at all) so we’ll see how it goes. Notes: Written for Teen Wolf Bingo (“fake dating” + “Stiles
Stilinski”). Set after season two. Jackson is no longer the Kanima, and stays
in Beacon Hills.
He should have never taken Danny’s bet. I should
have known better, he thinks, taking a deep breath. Who knows what
torture Danny will inflict on him for losing? His best friend can be merciless.
Still, he’s got to face the music. He puts on his best game face, and pushes
open the door of the club’s party room.
The pack’s heads swivel toward him expectantly as he walks
in. He’s really regretting talking so much shit. Derek in particular looks like
he can smell Jackson’s defeat from across the room. Since Jackson’s his beta,
he probably can. He’s going to be mocked for ages, he just knows it.

Stiles is out of town for a work assignment when Jackson surprises him with a weekend visit.
It’s been a long week. There’s been a case down in Los Angeles that Stiles has been consulting on, so he’s been stuck in a hotel for days, and there’s probably another week left before he’ll be able to return to San Francisco. Since he was overly ambitious and triple majored in criminal justice, psychology, and computer information systems, his unique set of skills is often lent out to bureau offices in California when there’s a need. Occasionally, he even has to travel further, but Rafe usually avoids sending him too far out of their field whenever possible.
