y’all ever see a sibling interaction in media and just know….it was written by an only child

It’s weird when sibilings apologize in the movies. Because sibilings only apologize when they did something really really bad, like murder someone or something, otherwise the sibilings just casually start to talk to each other as if nothing had happened.

Siblings in a movie making up: I’m so sorry I hurt you…you’re not only my sister, you’re my best friend.

Siblings in real life making up: Lmao idk if you’re still mad bitch but look at this meme really quick.

anyways can we have the opposite of whatever daredevils weird guilt trope is.

like matt murdocks character and basically every other white boy superhero is constantly on the brink of abandoning their friends in the rudest way possible bc it’s “for the best” and they “need to focus” or whatever the shit

i want more plots that are like. superhero will literally give up vigilante-ing at the drop of a hat when their friends need them but their friends are always like “what no u gotta go save the fucking city why are u here eating ice cream at my apartment when lives are at stake w tf” and they think the superhero is cool af for saving people? idk im into that. also the superhero could be gay

#i believe daredevill’s ‘weird guilt trope’ is also generally known as ‘catholicism’ (x)

writer in the movies: dark, brooding, cynical to a fault, graceful, always bursting with ideas, constantly talking like they’re reading the dictionary, constantly working on their piece, dedicated to the extent they could lose everything
me as a writer: chokes on popcorn while scrolling tumblr, haven’t even looked at my work in a week
