okay my tags didn’t all post because I had too many!! It continued like this:

Stiles spends that first heat alone, with his toys, panting out Derek’s name as he fucks himself. So he KNOWS he needs to ask him the next time, but like… it’s Stiles, he can’t just go up to him, Derek might not even like him?

CUE shenanigans, with Stiles being awkward and obnoxious and spending WAY too much time trying to escape his bodyguards (who are totally Allison, Kira and Malia okay) and like, trying to get Derek to notice him. Derek noticed him. Derek notices everything. EVERYTHING). And like, Erica or Laura or Lydia probably tries to meddle, and Boys hears way to much about this whole situation and he just hates his life.

EVENTUALLY Derek and Stiles ~randomly~ end up at the same bar (it is so not random) and you know, one thing leads to another and Stiles is on his knees, blowing Derek in the bathroom, causing a scene probably because that’s how he rolls. And he convinces Derek to go home with him, to the apartment his Dad let’s him stay in. And it’s a little bit awk because Kira and Scott AND Allison live with him (SECRET SERVICE AGENT POLYAMORY FUCK YEAH)(SCOTTS TOTALLY THE PRESIDENTS PERSONAL SS AGENT). But once Derek gets his hands on Stiles’ skin they kind of forget that anyone else exists, and they have really hot, really loud, non-heat sex. 

and live happily ever after the end

(also for Stiles’ next heat they probably go to Derek’s house… there’s sound proof walls. Kira and Allison and Malia are eternally grateful)

i wonder if magic is real, but only in a really mundane way.

when i was little i could almost inerringly switch back to disney channel right as the ads ended when i was channel surfing.

maybe youve never accidentally crushed a ladybug underfoot. maybe your microwave popcorn never burns. maybe you can spin around lots and lots of times before you get dizzy.

is that magic??

honestly im not sure if these are magic or just small, invisible skills. im not sure which i like better.

My ankles never twist.  I’ve always been rather active, I did track for five years (all the running events), and one time while running I stepped in a hole, lost my shoe, and landed sprawling about five feet away.  I pulled my shoe on and kept running.

I have a coworker who somehow makes better coffee than everyone else even though the grounds come pre-measured and all you have to do is load them up and push a button.  I have a friend who has inch long nails that never break.  My brother can copy origami just by looking at the finished product and my mother can do the same with knots.  I knew a guy who never made an error when typing.

Maybe we all have little magics, the kind that you don’t realize you have.  Just tiny things that make your life slightly better but are completely unnoticed on the outside.

When Stiles comes it smells like thunder. It feels like lightning in his veins that makes his blood pump faster and thicker under his sweat slick skin. And then the scent turns sweet like taffy being turned over and over in a candy shop.

And yeah, Derek is a little addicted to getting a fix.

Agent Stilinksi and Agent Hale work in separate branches of the FBI, Stiles in Intelligence, and Derek in the National Security. They get along like a dog and a cat: a big, grumpy cat and an overly-excited puppy. So, Stiles finds it best to just not get in his way. But when the biggest lead on the kidnapping group comes their way, not only does their teams decided to group up as a unit, they decide that in order to track down the alleged couple, Derek and Stiles should go undercover to a string of high-end events as a couple. A couple. 

One month of discrete undercover work means that Derek and Stiles need to become Derek and Stiles, and Agent Lahey even suggest they live together to be able to seem believable (Stiles swears he’s going to get revenge). One month of fake hand-holding, fake terms of endearment, and fake hugs and kisses, and Derek learns that maybe Stiles isn’t so bad to be around, even if he is always spastic and leaving socks everywhere. And Stiles thinks Derek is actually kind of nice if you get him to open up, and he is an amazing cuddler. 

And if, after they make the arrest and close the case, Stiles stills stays over at Derek’s, no one says anything. 

(And Agent McCall definitely doesn’t say anything when he catches them in the conference room with flushed cheeks and messy hair. In fact, he just sends a mass text to Agents Martin, Argent, and Tate.)
