the wind howls through the branches, rustling the leaves. you can hear a distant crow cawing, signaling the sunrise. you watch your cool breath stream from your mouth as your hands warm on your drink. as the clouds are painted colors almost as brilliant as the leaves, you close your eyes. you take in the moment.
autumn has come
cornflowers, hares, mist lying low on empty fields, bare oak trees, old corn crushed into the dirt, the smell of a distant bonfire, eerie silence, candles burning in windows, white cottages with black beams, stacks of firewood, bats at dusk, a pale setting sun, tangles of brambles weighed down with blackberries, the faint screech of an owl, mid morning harvest, rows of thatched roofs, rings of mushrooms, silver birch trees, crows cackling
Moonlight is so pure and clean that it feels like a gift.
okay but waking up in the middle of the night to soft rain and knowing you’ve still got hours to sleep, when you’re toasty warm and comfortable & sleep has made you forget all your worries and responsibilities and u go back to sleep feeling as content as ever
The sound of heavy rain while you are in bed.
I LIIIIVE for those nights when you got nothing going on and so you like take a shower and deep condition your hair and shave everything and lotion yourself up and you like throw on your coziest jammies and give yourself a facial and light candles and incense and watch Netflix and listen to music and just like chill all night in your cleanest most relaxed state
