just imagine crisp autumn air breezing in through the window while the sun sets, smoke disappearing before it reaches the ceiling, warm mouths and hands and bodies all over each other… yeah. i just needed to draw some lazy evening stoner sterek.
i swear, since my first little venture into this whole idea over two years ago, i haven’t been able to stop developing my au versions of these characters and can’t imagine i’ll ever stop drawing them. it will likely be the death of me. but that’s okay.
also, when i was almost finished drawing the first panel, i realized how similar it was to an older drawing i had done (also a stoner au piece). i laughed at myself for my redundancy, but it’s also kinda fun to see how much my fanart style has developed over the year. so i ain’t mad.
anyway, if you want some chill tunes to listen to while you think about the greatness that is stiles and derek getting high and making out, i’ve made a playlist here! hope you guys like the art (and the music) ‘cause i sure as hell liked making it~

The setting sun cast a shadow over the loft, silhouetting Derek as he stood in the middle of the room, his eyes on the door. A moment later it was pulled open by Stiles, his eyes bright and his hair a little wild, but when was his hair under control these days?
“Happy birthday big guy,” Stiles said with a grin. He pulled a small gift wrapped box out of his back pocket and tossed it to Derek.
“Who told you it’s my birthday?” Derek asked, catching the package and eyeing it suspiciously. He had intentionally not told anyone when his birthday was, he had started a sad tradition of spending it alone, ever since Laura died. He usually left town for the day, just in case someone found out and tried to make him celebrate.
If hadn’t been a problem for the last four years because the pack had been off at college, but now that they had graduated and some of them had moved back he should have expected this, even though he should have known, he was still a little annoyed.
