Sterek AU: Mountain Man Derek
Derek had left Beacon Hills years ago, keeping his eyes on the road ahead until the town had faded from his rearview mirror. He had ended up finding a new reserve, more thickly wooded and lush than the old Hale lands, but still green, rich with the scent of growth, and full of wildlife.
He settled into a slow pace of life, occasionally taking trips out to the local town or further afield to see Cora in San Paulo or Erica and Boyd in New York. He ended up building himself what he calls a cabin, but Cora calls his ‘Mountain Man Den’. He gets a dog, a beautiful chocolate brown lab he calls Bean (he was drinking coffee and it came to him) and he spends his days wandering with her before heading home for home cooked meals and writing at his cramped desk.
It is all calm and quiet in Derek’s life until one morning walk when he catches a scent that he never thought he would encounter again, but that he would recognise anywhere. His excitement is betrayed by Bean sensing his emotional state and yipping happily. Stiles had come for him.

Stiles and Derek have been friends forever (as well as being secretly in love with each other). All of their friends are hoping they can finally get together in time for prom and are willing to push as hard as they need to in order to make it happen. (It takes an equal amount of kind pushing from their friends to get Derek to propose five years later, but Stiles and Derek could never find it in themselves to be angry since it worked out perfectly for them).
Peter’s Pizza Parlor
The Parlor was the one place they all still felt safe and in control after the fire. These days, Peter was still the head of the business, but Derek and Cora had taken over the everyday task of running the parlor. After much debate between them about needing more help, Cora hires a new up and coming cook, Stiles. Much to Derek’s annoyance, Stiles, with his backwards cap and new recipes and ideas for the restaurant, gets under his skin and into his heart.

Stiles is a young but extraordinary witch. He spends his days training with Deaton who sometimes forgets to mention certain things. Like, apparently familiars are a (very handsome but very annoying) thing . Or that Stiles should not, under any circumstances, work with Peter Hale.

sterek week ‘15 ≡ day three : The Hunter’s Moon (27th October)
After dying and evolving into a full wolf, Derek leaves Beacon Hills behind.
And sometime after so does Stiles. His friends leave to go to college; Stiles leaves to go find the man that has been haunting his mind ever since he looked back in that critical night in Mexico and gave him a last glance, a silent plea that this time, just one more time, they’d both make it out alive just like they always did.
Derek is surprised when Stiles finds him but shows no resistance when Stiles tells him he wants to join him; he missed Stiles if he was being completely honest with himself. Sometime after Stiles sugests that maybe they should do something with all of their knowledge of the supernatural to make the world a safer place. Now they hunt monsters who threaten ordinary people’s lives and little by little, they realize they have found love in one another. (listen)

Sterek AU: Derek and Stiles are in a relationship, but there are still some things that need to be said, things that Stiles doesn’t understand. For example, why Derek can’t trust the people he loves anymore.
