“He’s so fucking pretentious, the little shit.” Stiles scoffs with a glare. “I wanna hit him with the Jeep.”
There’s a snort from behind him. “You’re not gonna hit him with your Jeep.”
Stiles turns to face Derek, a somewhat mutinous pout tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Why not? It might knock his head outta his ass enough to let blood flow up to his brain.”
Derek shakes his head with a grin playing in his face. Stiles is momentarily distracted by the beauty of it, of seeing Derek happy and safe here with Stiles, and far away from anyone that would try and harm him.
“Or maybe you can ignore said little shit,” Derek starts, lips now pursed and an eyebrow raised cockily, “And come back to bed and kiss me instead.”
